Hi eagles!

8th march is popularly known as Women’s Day and in honour of all the wonderful women in the world, I have decided to write about 3 unknown women heroes who have changed the world ! I was honestly shocked and overwhelmed when I did research, there were more than 50 websites with quite large numbers like 75 and 100 unknown women who changed the world. I will leave here a few links and I would recommend you all check them out!

I also want to remind everyone to respect the women you meet every day. May it be in the form of your mother, sister, friends or a complete stranger. Every woman out there is a warrior !

The world’s favourite apple products being the Macintosh and MacBook’s, have been described as user-friendly computers in the world. Steve Job has been attributed for his Apple masterpieces. However, we must not forget the ingenious graphic designer Susan Kare who perfected the software, worked hard on the genius command key and trash icon. You can also thank her for the Facebook gift icons, Photoshop lasso tool and so much more. Susan Kare is often missed in the contributions where her role in the creation is vital and is what makes MacBook’s well MacBook’s!

Closer to home, Matgani Hazra was a brave Indian freedom fighter. Her participation in the Quit India movement and Non-cooperation movement is inspiring to date. Sources say once during a procession she was carrying the Indian flag up high despite being shot three times and her spirit and vigour didn’t die down. She kept our holy flag up in the sky where it should be and screamed “Vande Mataram” with pride. The first statue after independent India of a woman was hers! She inspires us all to stay true to ourselves and fight for our rights

Ending with a bang! We have Anna Chandy who is described as the first-generation feminist. She was the first woman in her state to get a law degree. She worked hard and became the first female judge in India. She went on to advocate for women’s rights and for equality she then became district judge and then she had the honour to be the first female judge of the Indian high court.

There are so many women out there who inspire all of us every day! I wish everyone woman out there happy women’s day! Let each day be Women’s Day !!

Thank you for reading!
